This week, I helped to install a new pick up/sensor system for a the main church piano. In addition to this, I helped to put together and install a new 6U rack case that will house and contain all the networking and video equipment. The progress for the video rack has been unfortunately delayed because my mentor and I ran into some trouble regarding the set up of the private internet network for running the video equipment wirelessly. We plan on getting this problem fixed within this upcoming week.
For both church services this week, I assisted with setting up and tearing down microphones, filling in on the sound board, running the video switcher, filling in and helping to run the powerpoint slides, and helping to fix feedback and other audio issues that happened infrequently this Sunday.
